DUAL 26,s INSTEAD OF 700C's?

Alot of people have been switching over to dual 26's. Im not sure how it effects the ride but i hear it's alot slower for commuting and you have to drop crank arm sizes for ground clearance. Tom Mosher and Mike Schmidt are just a couple names that are on the 26 train. I guess with such a new sport like freestyle fixed we need to keep innovating and trying new things so if it sounds like something you might like, give it a go! Let us know how you like it.

No one does it better and he's local. Strong as it gets and just a total work of art. If you have never rode a set of phil wood hubs,do your self a favor and lace your next wheelset up with some.Definitely my hub of choice.

Its so crazy to look at how far we have come with builds. I mean look at this,weakest front wheel ever and proper track cranks mks sylvan pedals too! Keep in mind that this is the ''don'' of freestyle fix's bike and only a couple years back. This is proof of how much our sport is growing and where its going. 700cmx is a great way to describe it because i would not call my bike a ''track'' bike.

I know the Kilroy is an amazing frame and its the talk of the 700cmx world and i love mine but,Rick Hunter in Watsonville C.a has been making custom frames(that you can fit 48c tires in)for ever.His prices are very reasonable and he will build you anything!! I kinda wish i would have just gone to him instead of getting my kilroy but i will be ordering my next set up from him for sure!! Rick also builds bikes for James Newman of MASH SF.

Gus Molina is a great addition to the S.E family. Its really crazy to watch him ride in person,he is so agile for such a big guy. He lives and rides with D.J now and there pushing eachother to go bigger and bigger. I only met Gus once but he seemed like a super funny awesome kid. Congrats Gus!!!!!!

I was living in san diego and riding with this kid daily. For those of you who dont know, this is D.J Mull whom just started riding fixed less than a year ago. I was there for this heroic roof gap and it was f____ing gnarly. If charlie wasnt there to grab him after the landing it would have been deadly. This is a perfect example of where our sport is going and D.J is one of the leaders of the pac. D.J also just got the hook up from S.E bikes and US VS THEM clothing last week. You will be seeing alot more of this kid especially because he will be coming up to Santa Cruz to stay with me and ride. Great kid, great gap.

So i guess Payton and the boys are doing a Santa Cruz to S.F ride today. Payton called and asked to barrow my Cinelli Vigorelli for the mission. Im looking forward to hearing his feedback because i havent had the chance to really put it through its paces. The wonderful city of Santa Cruz gave us a f____ing bike park!!!!!!! Its not where it used to be but none the less its 200 yards up the rail road tracks in all its glory.We are going to start doing weekly sessions in the am (before the bmx crew wakes up) and possibly do some on the DL comps. I think you only have to where a helmet in there but not sure. Check back for event schedule.
